What is a PRX DermPerfexion Treatment?

PRX DermPerfexion acts much like chemical peel that does not visibly peel you because it works on the deeper layers of the skin without affecting or damaging the outer layers of the skin. The Treatment was originally developed as a treatment for children with scars and within recent years it was FDA-approved for aesthetic purposes. It is ultimately an improved version of the TCA Peel and is especially formulated to boost collagen and elastin fiber production, improve skin elasticity, and minimize the appearance of enlarged pores, acne scars, stretch-marks, and sagging skin.

The Science

The PRX DermPerfexion treatment contains a combination of trichloroacetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and kojic acid. The solution penetrates deep and acts on the epidermal layer down to the basal layer, stimulating skin cells to regenerate and renew. It is able to remove toughened skin without damaging the epidermis at all.

What can I expect during the PRX DermPerfexion treatment?

After cleaning and drying the skin, the solution is applied by massaging into the skin until the product is completely absorbed. Each session will include between 2 and 5 applications.
