BodyTite™can eliminate stubborn fat in areas resistant to exercise and diet while also tightening the skin in the same area.  No general anesthesia is required. BodyTite™ uses advanced technology that includes the use of radiofrequency energy.  BodyTite™ provides efficient fat reduction with greater skin tightening potential than other skin tightening devices available on the market today. Last but not least Dr. Sherman also provides a single treatment solution to cellulite called Aveli.  The treatment is minimally invasive and can help to reduce cellulite on the buttocks and upper thighs with minimal downtime and long lasting results.

Can BodyTite™ produce surgery like results?

BodyTite™ provides excellent results for the right candidate. There are significant advantages to this minimally invasive, in-office treatment—patients enjoy reduced expense, greater comfort, shorter recovery, and fewer risks, still with profound results. Many candidates can undergo BodyTite™ treatments in place of surgery.

Can I get treatment with BodyTite™ if I just need fat reduction?

Yes! This treatment is highly effective at fat elimination even when no skin tightening is necessary.

What are the risks of BodyTite™?

Because this procedure is performed in the office with only a mild oral sedative, the risks are significantly lower than they are with surgery in an operating room. Rare risks may include infection, thermal burns, seroma, skin injury, nerve injury, and lidocaine toxicity. The safety mechanisms of these devices have significantly reduced these risks to well below those associated with liposuction. Treatment with BodyTite™ is safe and well-tolerated, with minimal discomfort.

How long is recovery from BodyTite™?

The recovery after a BodyTite™ is very short. Most patients can return to work at a less physically active job within 3 or 4 days. Patients with physically active jobs may need to wait up to 1 week before returning to work. Within 1 to 2 weeks, all patients are usually able to fully resume normal activities with the exception of strenuous exercises, which is usually at 4 weeks after the procedure.

When will I see my BodyTite™ results?

Initial results are noticeable shortly after the treatment and will continue to improve as any swelling resolves. Due to the stimulation of collagen during treatment, your results will continue to improve for up to 6 months after your procedure.
