A Full-Face CoolPeel only takes 15-20 minutes, so both treatments combined can be completed in an hour start to finish. Of course, our patients need to count on extra time for numbing and filling out patient forms, but even so, patients should not have to sacrifice more than a few hours the day of treatment. No makeup should be worn for a minimum of 12 hours.
Only wear mineral-based foundation or mineral-based powder for up to 14 days post-procedure. Direct sun exposure should be avoided for the first 10-14 days if possible and SPF 50 or higher must be applied prior to going outside. Look for face masks that incorporate sun protection in the fabric. Additionally, wear polarized sunglasses when going outside.
