I started New Skin Medical in 2016 with the purchase of my first laser device—a picosecond laser for tattoo removal. At the time, I saw a growing trend: more and more young adults were getting tattoos, and I believed that as time passed, many would seek safe and effective options for removal. That insight marked the beginning of what would become a remarkable journey.
Nearly a decade later, New Skin Medical has evolved into a comprehensive, state-of-the-art medical spa offering solutions for nearly every aesthetic concern—and yes, we still proudly offer expert tattoo removal services.
In the early days, I operated the spa from within my General Surgery office while continuing to perform complex surgical procedures. Eventually, we moved into a small space in a local strip mall. As demand grew, we quickly outgrew that location and, in April 2020, transitioned into our current facility—just as the world was confronting the uncertainty of COVID-19.
That same month, I turned 60 and made the decision to step away from surgery to focus entirely on medical aesthetics and my comprehensive vein care clinic. What began as a side endeavor with just me and my nurse has now grown into a thriving full-time business. Today, we’re supported by a dedicated team of professionals who take genuine pride in the care we provide and the transformations we help our clients achieve.
